Nowhere 2023 Movie Summary & Ending Explained
Nowhere 2023 which is released on September 29, 2023, is an excellent movie starring Spanish actress Anna Castillo. Most of the film is inside a container, a girl who is trapped inside the container, and unfortunately, the container is thrown into the sea. A very good story and a very sad film Nowhere 2023 is directed by Albert Pintó. 90% of the film is played by Anna Castillo, which also stars Tamar Novas as her husband for a while.
Nowhere Movie Summary
At the beginning of the film, we see a radio in a taxi blaring that the government had no way to save resources, so they had to do it all. The government is killing pregnant women and children. A man then pulls several people out of the taxi, including a couple named Nico and Mia. Mia is pregnant and the couple sit in a container with the others. And then Cantner walks by and there’s a woman watching on the news that the government is killing women and children. Then we see that Nico wants to feel his unborn baby so Mia says that it’s been a long time since I’ve felt a baby in my belly. But Niko encourages her and says I can feel the baby in your stomach. And Niko says I am sure you will give birth to a baby girl and we will name her Nawa. Then Nico gives a chocolate to Mia and tells her that she will eat it when our trip is over. But Mia is very worried about her unborn child. Meanwhile, there is a knock on the door, Niko goes and opens the door. As soon as Nico opens the door, a lot of people rush in. Then a man fires a shot and says that there will be another container and then that man takes half of the people out of the container. They force Nico out of that container too, and then Mia sees through a hole that Nico has been put in container number 107. Then Mia and Nico say on the phone that we are all going to the same place and we will all meet there. Niko tells her that she will take care of herself and her unborn child and don’t trust anyone. They then end the call while Mia watches outside the container where the soldiers kill many people. Pregnant women are also locked up and taken away to be killed. Seeing this, everyone in the container gets scared. After three hours of travel, the container stops again and Mia looks out that some officers are checking the container then an officer opens the container and comes in but he doesn’t see anyone there because there is a hiding place where they all hide. Then the officer shoots one shot from outside and checks that there is a place to hide inside. Then he tells everyone to come out and I will evict everyone. Hearing this, Mia climbs on top of a box while a girl tries to save her life by opening the door but the officer kills her. Then all the officers shoot from outside the door and kill everyone while Mia escapes by staying on top of the box. Then the officer says to throw all these bodies out and send the container to Dab. The soldiers clean the container by throwing all the bodies out. After closing the container, the soldiers leave and Mia comes down. After some time the container is placed in a ship on the daub and Mia also comes to know about it. Then Mia calls Nico but Nico’s phone goes off. Mia then looks through the dead people’s belongings in her container, where she finds a drill machine, a knife, a light, and a lot of other things.
Mia’s stay in the container is a long story, but I will try to summarize the main story of the film. There was enough water in this container and during this time Mia gave birth to a baby girl Mia named the baby girl “Nawa” at Nico’s request. The girl child is also being brought up inside this container. Mia keeps herself alive by eating fish etc. Meanwhile, Mia drills a hole in the roof of the container with a drill. After a few days of tireless work, she succeeds. She comes out of the hole and finds that she is in the middle of the ocean and there is no population in the distance. Then she also brings her daughter on the roof of this container. By making a net of earphones in a container, Mia catches fish, which she eats to survive. One day Niko gets a call and says that our container has been captured and I am also very injured. Then Mia tells him that I have given birth to a daughter and named her Nawa. Miya puts the phone to Nova’s ear and hears Nico’s voice. Mia has tears in her eyes and tells Niko that Nawa looks like you. Mia spends 32 days in this container and one day she sees a seagull which gives her a ray of hope. Mia makes a small ship for her daughter by making a net and one day due to a storm, water comes into the container causing Nava’s ship to float in the sea. In the conflict, Mia also gets separated from the container and hangs with Nava’s ship. Finally, one day, while watching the seagull, a girl’s eyes fall on Nawa’s ship. The girl is surprised to see that there is a beautiful baby girl on this ship. There they see a rope attached to the ship and they pull it then Mia comes out of the water. And then they pull her up. They try to save Mia but Mia is not breathing. Then suddenly Nawa cries and Mia regains consciousness after hearing Nawa’s cry. As soon as she regains consciousness she asks where is my daughter? Then Mia is given her daughter which makes her very happy. Then the girl’s father calls for medical help. Mia thanks the girl and her father. Now the boat moves towards the shore, on which tears of happiness come from Mia’s eyes. As sad as the film was, there was a lot of happiness to be seen at the end.
